Then why not join Theatre On Ice Academy for the exciting production of Shrek the Musical on Ice and be part of an unforgettable live event in July.

As a Theatre Support Volunteer in a front-of-house role, you’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming, fun, and well organised experience for all audience members.

In this customer-facing role, you may support across a range of areas, including selling merchandise and tickets, assisting audience members with entry and ticket checks, guiding guests to their seats, answering questions, and helping to maintain a safe, clean, and friendly environment throughout the event.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with people and wants to gain hands-on experience in a lively theatre setting.

Volunteers can commit to one full day, although availability across all three days is strongly preferred.  Volunteering takes place between 3rd - 5th July

What skills do I need?

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable individuals who enjoy working with people and being part of a team.

No formal qualifications are required, but the following skills and qualities are preferred.  

  • Strong communication and customer service skills Confident and approachable manner when interacting with the public
  • Ability to stay calm and helpful in a busy, fast-paced environment,
  • Good teamwork and willingness to take direction
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Experience in customer service, events, theatre, or hospitality is beneficial but not essential.
  • An interest in performing arts or live events is a plus.
