SENSORY GARDEN AND GROUNDS VOLUNTEER (HVC-1822)

St Georges Health & Wellbeing Hub

The St George's Health and Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch has a beautiful grounds and gardens that surround it and like all beautiful things it needs some tender loving care.

We are looking for grounds and gardening volunteers to help us keep the weeds at bay and the plants watered!

What skills do I need?

If you have a green finger and a passion for gardening then we need you!

Currently the grounds are periodically looked after by a maintenance team but we need a little bit of help in between. The site has a water irrigation system that will need to be turned on and we need some help weeding in between visits.

We are also working closely with the cafe to grow fruit and veg to support them with their produce, so this is a great opportunity for anyone who is a great veg grower!
