One-to-One Wellbeing Support Volunteer - HVC 2063

Rainham Foodbank

We are looking for a one-to-one Wellbeing Support Volunteer to provide person-centred emotional and practical support to adults who require help building confidence, independence, and access to services.  

As part of this role you will

• Provide supportive one-to-one engagement sessions

• Support clients to identify goals and improve wellbeing

• Assist individuals to access local services and community resources

• Support people experiencing isolation, anxiety, stress, or low confidence

• Encourage self-management, resilience, and independence

• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality 

Volunteer Commitment -  Flexible weekday availability preferred. Volunteers may support sessions across Rainham and other Havering community venues.

All volunteers will receive induction, safeguarding training, role-specific guidance, and ongoing supervision and support.

What skills do I need?

You will require kills & Qualities Strong listening skills, empathy, emotional intelligence, confidentiality awareness, and ability to build trust with vulnerable adults.
