Practical Park Volunteer - HVC-2098

Would you like to join our practical volunteer group and learn new skills, whilst helping the environment & wildlife?

Join our Rangers on Tuesdays or Thursdays for the morning (starting 9:30am).

You'll get to have a go at many tasks, such as coppicing, creating habitats and building fences. Come and help our Rangers with practical work that makes our country park a great place for people and wildlife. Volunteering at Belhus Woods is hands-on - a great way to meet people, learn about conservation, get a bit of exercise and make a difference.

Please Note: Suitable outdoor clothing and safety boots will be needed.

Parking and hot drinks provided. 

What skills do I need?

A good level of fitness is required as the work takes place in a rugged terrain across the park.
