Drivers Mate - HVC 2005

ReStore - Habitat for Humanity GB

We are looking for a Drivers mate to help our busy Drivers collect and deliver donations. You will provide support to the Warehouse Manager and Driver, ensuring operational effectiveness throughout the warehouse. transport 

The role involves the following tasks: - 

Assist the driver to load and unload vehicles at the warehouse and store

  • Keep the warehouse and associated areas clean and tidy
  • Sort donations in the warehouse ready to be transferred s
  • To work within Health & Safety guidelines, following Hospice guidance, policies and procedures including manual handling and operational safety processes.  


What skills do I need?

Skills

• Good level of general education including English and Mathematics

• Good standard of English literacy, spelling and grammar.

• Awareness of Health & Safety legislation 

• Good general health, since the role requires the moving of heavy and bulky items is a major part of your volunteering
