Digital Skills Support Volunteer - HVC 2068

Do you know your way around online forms and emails ? Do you  have basic social media skills ?

Then this is an excellent opportunity to support digitally excluded adults to build confidence using Technology and showing them how to access online services safely and independently. 

Your tasks would include:

• Support participants with basic digital tasks such as emails, online forms, and video calls

• Assist individuals to access NHS, Council, and community services online

• Provide patient, step-by-step guidance using devices and apps

• Promote safe internet use and digital confidence

• Encourage independence and ongoing digital engagement

Flexible weekday availability preferred. Volunteers may support sessions across Rainham

All volunteers will receive induction, safeguarding training, role-specific guidance, and ongoing supervision and support.

What skills do I need?

You will need to be: -

  • Confident IT user 
  • Patient communicator
  • Supportive approach,
  • Ability to explain digital concepts clearly.
