Elm Park Community Association

The Elm Park Community Association are a group of local residents from diverse backgrounds who all have a common interest and that’s keeping the community hall at the heart of the    community.We do this because we have a passion for Elm Park and the people in the local community, we know that the hall is a place for people to come together to learn and share from each     other. If you have that shared passion for the community and Elm Park and want to help keep a   community facility running for local people then we want to hear from you!This is a really hands on role as not only are our Committee Members leading and steering the direction of the charity but heavily support the day to day running with opening and closing the hall and supporting events and fundraising activities, there is plenty to keep you busy if you are looking for a hands on and strategic role.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for people who are passionate about Elm Park and the local community and have skills in the following areas:

- Community Centre / Building Management

- Policies, Health & Safety

- Charity Governance 

- Finance and Fundraising

- Events 

When do I need to be available?

Committee Meetings are held on a Wednesday evening every 3 months but there are monthly fundraising events and also weekend hall opening and closing responsibilities too.
