Check In & Chat Volunteer (HVC-1924)

Loneliness and Isolation does not discriminate, it can affect anyone at any point in their lifetime and that's why HVC's Check In & Chat service is vital to so many people. 

It is the only free telephone befriending service that is open to anyone from any age range and any background. 

Our service is known for calling because we care and that is exactly what we do. We place a call to someone who is in need of a little chat once a week, just to check in, see how they are, chat about random topics and make them feel valued and cared for.

We are looking for more telephone befrienders to join our team as the service is in popular demand!

We are looking for someone to join us in the office to place a few calls to residents who need the service, this is available on a Monday afternoon from 2pm - 5pm
